Your Opportunity:

In this full-time role at TechSource as a Senior Technical Communications Writer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Albuquerque Program Management Office (PMO) and Marketing and Integrated Communications Department. You will focus on enhancing corporate business development and supporting proposal activities, along with developing impactful communication and marketing materials. You will create customized capability presentations, generate thought leadership articles, and prepare training materials and comprehensive proposals. You will manage the entire lifecycle of technical documentation and communications materials from initiation through distribution, which involves meticulous tracking, crafting, editing, and distributing content to ensure it upholds the utmost standards of excellence and efficacy.

This position will require a hybrid schedule, with at least 3 days in the office per week, depending on meetings and needs. Your onsite work will be done in the ABQ PMO office in Albuquerque, NM.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with subject matter experts to create, refine, and disseminate technical documentation aimed at customers, company stakeholders, and industry. Documentation should succinctly and effectively communicate complex technical concepts and analyses.
  • Offer comprehensive writing support and editorial guidance in crafting responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, ensuring clarity, precision, and relevance.
  • Create and distribute compelling thought leadership content that showcases TechSource's extensive capabilities, innovative projects, deep expertise, and comprehensive suite of solutions.
  • Create content and maintain an internal e-based resource library encompassing whitepapers, case studies, policies, etc.
  • Support content development, editorial review, and publication format selection activities for external focused Nuclear Security Enterprise technical training materials.
  • Work in concert with operational leadership in the creation and periodic revision of training and reference documentation designed to drive accuracy, clarity, and consistency throughout the company.
  • Utilize industry standard language and design principles to create accessible documents, including brochures, capability statements, web content, guides, and manuals.
  • Support the buildout of AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools to enhance data mining and content creation utilization throughout the company, especially related to proposal response and marketing efforts.

What You Will Need:

  • 8 -10 years of technical writing experience. DOE (Department of Energy) or DoD (Department of Defense) related experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or another related field. Equivalent experience considered. Masters' degree preferred.
  • Desktop publishing proficiency including Adobe Acrobat, and MS Office Suite, familiarity with AI (Artificial Intelligence).
  • Ability to write clear, concise, engaging, and grammatically correct content.
  • Manage time-sensitive deadlines simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills; ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and senior leadership.
  • Strong collaborative and team-building skills.
