• Process medication orders including drug dispensing, compounding, and distribution with accuracy and efficiency
• Deliver optimal pharmacotherapy that is safe and efficacious
• Clinical drug monitoring/consultation
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to manage patient drug therapies
• Daily reactive and targeted proactive medication regimen reviews within designated area(s)
• Quality assurance and improvement
• Provide drug information support or drug teaching upon request
• Willingness to precept pharmacy students and/or pharmacy residents
• Promote a positive work environment that contributes to a team focused work unit

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an AACP-accredited college of pharmacy
• Registered Pharmacist, State of Texas (or eligible by reciprocity or board examinations
• Be able to accurately and safely dispense drugs and drug information in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Previous pharmacy experience
