The Equipment Manager is responsible for leading the Equipment Management organization and is part of the Supply Chain Management organization at DN Tanks.

They have broad responsibility for execution of processes across our total equipment lifecycle. The position manages an organization spread across three regions in United States including maintenance operations in each of our regional warehouses.

This is a key role in supporting cost effective construction operations and collaborates closely with our operations leadership team.
Primary Responsibilities
    • Support Equipment Deployment and Project Mobilization readiness planning processes
    • Evaluating the performance of equipment and making recommendations for improvement in the maintenance, operations, and training on critical equipment
    • Scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure that equipment is in a high state of readiness
    • Manage equipment availability and capacity and provides input to capital equipment planning
    • Track and manage equipment maintenance cost and promote cost reduction activities
    • Coordinating with team staff regarding equipment needs and ordering new equipment as needed
    • Inspecting equipment to make sure that it meets safety regulations and in good working order
    • Maintaining inventory and warranty records of all equipment and supplies
    • Evaluate and recommend process enhancements
    • Trains, leads, supports, and provides input for annual performance reviews of Equipment Management organizations
    • Controls cost of maintenance operations while maintaining effective and reliable equipment for construction jobs.
Qualifications
    • A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in an equipment management or maintenance field preferred.
    • 3+ years of Equipment Management experience required, preferably in a construction industry
    • Mechanical/technical aptitude, safe work habits, a good working knowledge of equipment maintenance operations
    • Experience in managing multiple depot and field maintenance operations
    • Solid understanding of diesel and hydraulic systems, electrical, electronics, pneumatics, diagnosing and calibration a plus
    • Experience in managing maintenance of concrete pumps and tools is desirable
    • Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word, and MM software
    • Proficient written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to establish and maintain high performing teams
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to assess competing priorities to identify high value activities
