After more than 20 years,
Intuit continues to transform business and financial management for small businesses, accounting professionals and consumers. The company's mission is to create new ways to manage personal finances and small businesses that are so profound and simple, customers cannot imagine going back to the old way.
What's Important at Intuit
Intuit was founded on strong principles. As the business grew, employees decided it was important to institutionalize those principles - to create something that would pilot the company into the future. We agreed it was so important, in fact, that in 1993 we set aside business for a day to do it. Gathering at a convention center, we brainstormed about Intuit's vision, mission and operating values. Over the next few months, working in teams from various groups, we produced these 10 operating values – “rules to live by” at Intuit:
Integrity without compromise
Do right by all our customers
It's the people
Seek the best
Continually improve processes
Speak, listen and respond
Teams work
Customers define quality
Think smart, move fast
We care and give back
We think that these values help us exceed our own expectations - and wow our customers.
Making Intuit a Great Place to Work - an Ongoing Commitment
Our annual employee survey survey is part of our ongoing commitment to these 10 values. Managers use input from the survey to make sure they're acting on what's most important to employees. The results help managers see how they're measuring up to these employee expectations:
Help me be productive, do great things and be the best I can be
Let me know where I stand and how I'm doing
Invest in me to help me grow fast
Pay me fairly and recognize my contributions
Make me an integral part of the team
Create a positive work environment
You're more than what you do at work. And we're more than TurboTax, Quicken and QuickBooks. That's why FORTUNE Magazine named us "America's Most Admired Software Company" and one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For."
We get it. And that makes us different.
